The National Academy of Medicine Collaborative and founding partners have announced March 18 as the annual, national Health Workforce Well-Being (HWWB) Day. Health workforce well-being is a top priority to PersonalRX Pharmacy, and we celebrate being an inaugural NAM Change Maker alongside national and institutional leaders, policymakers, patients and communities, and health workers of all professions who are doing the same.
The NAM’s Clinician Well-Being Collaborative aims to shape the national conversation to advance three goals. The Collaborative aims to:
- Raise the visibility of clinician anxiety, burnout, depression, stress, and suicide
- Improve baseline understanding of challenges to clinician well-being, and
- Advance evidence-based, multidisciplinary solutions to improve patient care by caring for the caregiver
As healthcare professionals continue to face burnout as a significant challenge, members of the NAM Clinician Well-Being Collaborative must do their best to support them in whatever ways they can.
